Goal Note Method
Referencing a previous review: I noted that the students in my advanced jazz improvisation class did not like the book. I don't think the other glowing review is genuine.I just re-read the first 5 star review of this text and it and reads exactly like a publisher's promo release posted by the author or the publishers' publicity department; even down to the marketing tactic of the closing ALL CAPS tribute...how it's REALLY done! As a real college Jazz teacher I must protest. Honestly the class did not like the book and we are using another text in the current semester.

Jazz improvisation the goal note method
I used this method for advanced jazzImprovisation class and will neverUse it again. The students hated it. They found it verbose and lacking in practical application with paced exercises
