It is OK
Not what I was looking for in a Jazz book. The one song I wanted, God Bless The Child, was disappointing. Looking for a little more substance. Music can be challenging but I want the Trombone part to be more a part of the music. I did not feel the flow.

excellent
Love the tunes, difficulty is perfect. I'll use with every int. student. Instr. range and rhythmic difficulty as well as chord changes are great.

Great for Intermediate
Sure, when I was in High School 20 years ago, this would have been an easy book. But now that I am 20+ years older and my brain works slower, and having just picked the trombone back up after so long, this makes a great book to help get back up to speed. The songs aren't exactly how I remember them from the versions I have heard, but that's what improvisation is for :) I especially like A Night In Tunesia (Love Manhattan Transfer when they sang it)...
