J.S.Bach trans by Calderon
I'm rating this based on Chaconne BWV 1004 only. (other pieces might or not have same problems). Generally, its on the thinner side or harmonization than Segovia's (and I prefer that).1)I'm less than half-way into Chaconne and found mistakes in measures: 23,32,35,40,47,66,68,83 so far.... 2) Audio (for the Chaconne) provided and played by the author differs from the book! Looks like what Calderon played, is his transcription mixed with Segovia's. While there are good things in it (minimal fingerings, interesting variations in measures 91,97 etc) to me, its unforgiving having mistakes I mentioned.Other transcriptions in this book I have not examined, so -no comment.
