Brahms' variations on the theme of Paganini from his 24th caprice, especially the first book, in form and development can well exist as an independent composition. It is believed that this version of the variations on the theme of Paganini is an exceptional test of technical difficulties for any soloist. Brahms deliberately put this composition of his on the edge of the possible, while his intuition and genius do not allow him to stray from the path of the sublime and divine embodiment, for which Paganini was reproached even during his lifetime. They say that he had an inhuman technique and probably sold his soul to the devil for it. In any case, I do not consider two weeks of deep immersion and co-creation with the great composer lost, despite any reaction and assessment of my work on the orchestration.
