One of my students introduced me to this melody when she wanted to learn to play it for her mother. And now you can play it, too!
I'd classify this version as Easy Piano (Beginner Piano), Level 1. Pianists will need to be able to read treble and bass clef notes, understand key signature (at least G Major), and basic rhythm (quarter notes, half notes, dotted half notes, whole notes, tied notes). This song also gives pianists an opportunity to practice some basic chords (I-IV-V7-I progression), dynamics, a fermata, and playing a note an octave below where it's written.
