A simple arrangement, capturing the melody and bass line of this beautiful song from Miyazaki’s Spirited Away. Originally a request from one of my own students, this sheet music is for early piano students who haven’t learned eighth notes yet. If teaching this music, please help the student understand the hand position changes that come with the suggested fingerings. If the student has not been introduced to key signatures (as is the case in early Faber), please help them understand that all Bs are flat in this piece. The piece may be pedaled extensively, but I have only notated pedal in the intermediate bars between phrases of the melody to keep things simple for the beginner. For the rest of the piece, one may pedal at the start of each left hand note.

-May serve as an introduction to key signatures.
-How to maneuver one’s hands around the keyboard with greater dexterity.
-Getting outside of playing in just one hand position.
