Deze compositie werd geschreven in opdracht van de stad Breda en de organisatie van La Vuelta. Toen ik probeerde de essentie van het rijden van een grote tour te vangen, dacht ik aan drie belangrijke zaken: Kracht, Moed en Vasthoudendheid. En dit geldt niet alleen voor de sport, maar voor alle grote uitdagingen in het leven. Daar begint – en eindigt – alles mee. Dit alles vormde de basis voor de tweeledige titel van dit werk: It All Starts Here – Strenght, Courage, Perceverance

This composition was commissioned by the city of Breda and the organisers of La Vuelta. When I tried to capture the essence of riding a grand tour, I thought of three important things: Strength, Courage and Perseverance. And this applies not only to sport, but to all major challenges in life. Everything starts - and ends - with this. All this formed the basis for the dual title of this work: It All Starts Here - Strength, Courage, Perceverance

Cette composition a été commandée par la ville de Breda et les organisateurs de La Vuelta. Lorsque j'ai essayé de capturer l'essence de la conduite d'un grand tour, j'ai pensé à trois choses importantes : La force, le courage et la ténacité. Et cela ne s'applique pas seulement au sport, mais à tous les grands défis de la vie. Tout commence - et finit - par là. C'est ainsi qu'est né le double titre de cette œuvre : "It All Starts Here - Strenght, Courage, Perceverance".

Diese Komposition wurde von der Stadt Breda und den Organisatoren der La Vuelta in Auftrag gegeben. Als ich versuchte, die Essenz des Fahrens bei einer Grand Tour einzufangen, dachte ich an drei wichtige Dinge: Stärke, Mut und Zähigkeit. Und das gilt nicht nur für den Sport, sondern für alle großen Herausforderungen im Leben. Alles beginnt - und endet - damit. All dies bildete die Grundlage für den Doppeltitel dieses Werks: "It All Starts Here - Strength, Courage, Perceverance".
