First trumpet briefly ascends to D above high C at one point. Key centers include C, F, Bb (concert) with meters of 6/8 and 3/4. Duration is about 4 minutes and 45 seconds at suggested tempi. Aside from the one instance of high range in trumpet 1, difficulty level is a 4 on a six point scale. There are a few instances of thin scoring texture for Fr. Horn and trombone.
