"Invincible" was the last song recorded for Clarkson's seventh album Piece by Piece (2015); Shatkin pitched it to her with the words, "I know you're done recording, but we've just wrote this amazing song." Clarkson heard their demo and replied, "I want it." The finished track — featuring uncredited backing vocals by Sia herself — became the album's second single and earned praise as a natural successor to Clarkson's signature anthems. This TTBB arrangement captures the song's driving emotional arc: raw vulnerability building to full-throated triumph, with the ensemble locked into the groove from first measure to last.
