This solemn concert march proves that also in The Netherlands some good original wind band music has been composed during the first half of the 19th century. This romantic triumphal march, typical for that era, clearly illustrates the French influence on the compositions of J.B. van Bree.
Cette marche de concert solennelle prouve que l'on a également composé de la bonne musique originale pour orchestre d'harmonie dans la première moitié du 19ème siècle aux Pays-Bas. Cette marche triomphale romantique est non seulement typique pour l'époque, mais elle illustre clairement l'influence française dans l'oeuvre de J.B. van Bree.
Dieser feierliche Konzertmarsch erweist daß man auch in den Niederlanden in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts gute originale Musik für Blasorchester komponiert hat. Dieser romantische triumphale Marsch ist nicht nur charakteristisch für diese Periode, sondern illustriert den französischen Einfluß in den Kompositionen von Johannes Bernardus van Bree.
