I have taken two main themes from the film (Day One, Confield Chase, the most popular) and joined them together to make a two-part piece. The arrangement does not support the actual length of the themes but exposes and develops them in such a way that the evolution of the themes seems much more organic and without falling into excessive repetition, so that the theme in about four minutes in length is quite well presented.
The piano part is brilliant and dramatic while the cello part maintains the narrative or expressive idea.
I have left the cipher at some point in the cello and piano part just in case the performer wants to change or move the direction of the notes as an improvisation and feel free to make this arrangement more his own.
