This arrangement of “Inisheer” will soon become a favorite, with its rich harmonies and rhythmic complexity. You won’t want to stop playing! You may find yourself challenged in new ways by the grace notes and coordinating of the two hands, but the challenge is well worth the reward. Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Mid-intermediate for big and small harps. The right hand consists of syncopated rhythms, grace notes, and quick placing giving it a special Celtic flare. The left hand consists of rolled chords, octaves, and cross-unders. This level has greater rhythmic, technical, and harmonic complexity than the late-beginner version. There are no lever changes!
Type of Harp: Big harp version is for 33 string harps or larger, but small harp version works for 26 strings or larger.
Range: For big harps: lowest note is G one and a half octaves below middle C, highest note is G two and a half octaves above middle C. For small harps: lowest note is C one octave below middle C, highest note is G two and a half octaves above middle C.
Levers/Pedals: In the key of G Major (set F#s before playing). No lever changes.
