Joe Garland's arrangement of "Tar Paper Stomp" by trumpeter Wingy Manone. Glenn Miller's recording became popular during WWII, and the 1959 recording by Ernie Fields and his Orchestra was number 4 on the Billboard popular hit parade. This bright, swinging arrangement captures all the lighthearted verve of this big band classic.
