Crowd pleasing challenger
"In the Mood" presents a vocal pitch and memorization challenge for the lead in any arrangement. As a lead with a range closer to that of a baritone, I find this arrangement perfectly suited for my quartet. While it puts the spotlight on the lead, the other three parts provide excellent support, complementing the melody to help maintain both pitch and focus. Paired with a strong visual performance, this arrangement can enable any reasonably skilled quartet to deliver a truly crowd-pleasing experience.
