Not so much In the Mood for this version
This is a widely available piano version, also available in printed form. Although it's nice, it didn't closely enough resemble the familiar Glenn Miller Orchestra recording for me.A word on notation, too... Sometimes the music is written with straight eighth notes that are to be medium swing according to the initial tempo indication. Other times, dotted eighth rhythms are written out. This was confusing as I was first learning it, and I still don't know if it's meant to be played differently or not. I just go by feeling and I'm probably playing it the same.

Not so much in the mood for this version
I didn't love this version, though as I'm playing it more, it's growing on me slightly. I've been listening to a Glen Miller version (orchestra) for years -- which I love, and this seemed like a little different style to me. I'm no expert, though.I wish I could have seen or heard the whole thing before purchasing, since there are no returns on digital music and I couldn't get a feel for the piece from only the first page. :(
