In the Doghouse Score Only by Erik Morales Jazz Ensemble - Sheet Music

By Erik Morales

Who says being in the doghouse is no fun? This phenomenal work fuses boogie-woogie and shuffle into a chart with a unique style and attitude. The opening piano groove grabs the listener and sets the pace for the entire work. A hot tenor solo (written or improvised) is backed by the ensemble and leads to an a cappella statement that really grooves. The ending shout chorus makes sure your audience knows that this is one doghouse with an open invitation to all!

In The Doghouse - Amazing!

Absolutely amazing! The song is so active, and as a lead Piano player this song without a doubt makes its mark amongst one of my favorite songs! It sure is not a simple song, as we started playing it at the end of our year. The song is lively, fun and sure to impress most people that listen to it. I would suggest this song to any Jazz Band directors because not only is it fun for the crowd to listen to but the players you will see smiles on their faces. All in all, I rate this song 5/5 and great for anyone.
