Medium swing. Inspired by Lee Konitz, this original is based on the changes to I Remember April. Solos for alto, tenor, trumpet, bone, and piano, as well as more chances for others in your band to blow. The Tristano-like melody sneaks in at the bridge and the last A section features some very interesting Scottish influences...before it's over, everyone gets in the "thickened line" of it all. Difficult.
