Jack Gale (1936-2022) was a legendary New York City trombonist, composer, arranger, and union activist. This is Jack's gorgeous arrangement of "In a Sentimental Mood" for trombone octet, consisting of 6 tenors and 2 basses. The included MP3 is from a tape of Jack overdubbing all 8 parts himself in his home studio in New Jersey. The arrangement includes the score, parts, and Jack's original handwritten parts.
