It expands on the ideas of previous books, focusing on even more
challenging intervallic sequences, more atonal and unpredictable,
modal, mixed with extended tonality, and quartal harmonies.
As with previous books, this one challenges the student to explore
intervallic relations beyond the traditional tonality which nearly all
standard etudes are based on.
Immune Etudes are condensed exercises that can be used for sight
reading or as part of a daily practice routine. They can also be used for
performance by linking several etudes into a set, or performing them all
sequentially.
