An bright and sparkly arrangement for violin and piano of the hymn tune ST DENIO, or Immortal Invisible God, Only Wise. This setting is for the intermediate violinist comfortable shifting in and out of 3rd position quickly. The printed fingering uses minimal 4th position, but could be easily refingered for 4th finger extention for the E harmonic for those not comfortable with 4th position. The opening syncopated melody in 4/4 exudes energy and life. With a somber contemplative 2nd stanza, the hymn tune in its original form is heard. After a brief modulation from G Major to A Major, the syncopated 4/4 melody returns with a drive to the end.
