An excellent publication of the work, though not a critical edition. Mozart actually wrote the part of Adamante for a castrato (who was only sixteen at the time, and Mozart had issues with him, but unlike often said, based on the music written for him, he was NOT a weak and incapable singer, quite the contrary). Mozart would later rewrite that role for a tenor adding a few arias and changing some of the trios. This score does not include any of those changes. I am looking forward to a release of a critical edition with all Mozart's music. However, this is excellent and what one would probably find closest to any recording or performance they may watch.
