This is an easy/beginner duet for two evenly levelled students. The primo part is based in middle C/left hand B position (can be adapted to purely middle C position with finger number changes) and can stand alone as a solo piece with the lyrics included under the notes. The primo part uses whole, half and quarter note rhythms (semibreve, minim, and crotchet). The melody in this part moves only by same, step and skip (unison, 2nd and 3rd).
The secondo part has both hands in bass clef, with suggeted finger numbers to help the beginning student find their way around playing both hands at once. There is a sharp, with a suggested 2nd finger over thumb finger choice, but fingers may be altered at the discretion of the teacher. The secondo part is written in whole and half notes (semibreves and minims). Intervals used are unison, second, third, and fourth.
