I Thirst by Craig Courtney 4-Part - Sheet Music

By Craig Courtney

Pamela Martin provides us with a richly-layered text which explores the irony of a sovereign God powerless to quench His own thirst. With the plethora of Holy Week offerings, it is refreshing to find an anthem with such a unique approach to the crucifixion. This will make a profound addition to any Maundy Thursday or Good Friday service.

Great Good Friday (Tenebrae) Piece

This is a reflective piece of Jesus' life as He hangs on the cross saying I Thirst. Not a difficult piece to sing; all church SATB/SAB choirs should handle with ease. Very meaningful piece.Highly recommend for Lent, particulary for a Good Friday or Tenebrae Service.
