This lead sheet includes two versions of reharmonization:
Reharm. #1 is similar to the original hymn harmonies, yet in contemporary flavor.
Reharm. #2 is more colorful in harmony due to using substitute chords, secondary dominants, and sometimes 2-5-1 progressions.
This lead sheet includes six different keys: E, F, G, Ab(original key), A, and Bb.
You can use this lead sheet in different situations;
(1) if you want to play the piano for the congregational singing (you can use reharm.#1 for verse 1~3, and reharm.#2 for the last verse)
(2) when you should accompany this hymn during a worship service in lower/higher keys,
(3) when you wants to play a piano solo during worship,
(4) when someone wants to play his/her own transposing instrument,
(5) if your acoustic guitarist joins you but hard to play in the flatted keys, in this case he/she can play in G with capo 1 while you play in Ab.
