This is a digitally created wind and string ensemble performing the original melody of the beloved hymn, by Elisha A. Hoffman (1839-1929), with harmonizing counter melodies by the soprano, alto and tenor/baritone instruments interweaving throughout. Also included is bass and percussion. The piece includes an introduction and ending; and a key change, followed by the return to the original key via D.S. al Coda.
