This arrangement is for standard "Big Band" Jazz Ensemble. 5 Saxophones, 5 Trumpets, 3 Trombones & Bass Trombone, Guitar, Piano, Bass, and Drum Kit. The difficulty level is upper medium to advanced due to the tempo, the meter changes, and the ranges of the brass and saxes. It features an ad-lib tenor saxophone solo. The electric guitar part has some written solos and requires a 1970s-style wah-wah pedal. It was originally arranged as an instrumental Chorus Line medley in 1979 for a student/faculty band at Berklee College of Music where the arranger was on the faculty. For this new 2025 version, Mr. Hazzard shortened his arrangement to contain only the opening number, I Hope I Get It. The performance time is 4'20".
