I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe Piano Solo - Digital Sheet Music

By MercyMe

"I Can Only Imagine" has got to be one of the greatest songs ever about heaven! The lyrics and music work together to paint a picture of what that glorious day will be like, when we meet Jesus, and see our loved ones again that have gone on before us. This piano solo is arranged for advanced intermediate pianists in the key of E Major. Helpful fingering is added to help play the gorgeous, rich chords with ease. Keep the upper voice melody strong while playing the harmony notes in the lower R.H. voice softer. The song begins very soft and tender, and then on page 3 the L.H. plays a contemporary rhythm in the bass which adds more movement to the style. This song is perfect for funerals or memorial services, church specials, and recitals. Written by Bart Millard, recorded by Mercy Me, and arranged by Amy J. Snyder. I Can Only Imagine

Beautiful arrangement. I tweaked it just a bit by adding lower bass at the beginning of each measure on just the second verse. To me, it sounded better this way.

Beautiful arrangement

I tweaked this arrangement on the second verse by adding a lower octave on the first measure of each line of the second verse to provide more bass and depth. I liked it better this way.
