Sorry I bought this
Based on the song list and the sample, I thought this would be a worthy purchase. I was wrong. The arrangements are very short and elementary. There's no thematic development or technical challenge. The print is too large, making the music appear cheap. A waste of my money.

My Favorite Book
This has become one of my essentials in my collection. I use it weekly for church services including offetory and communion. The arrangements are simply enough to be learned quickly, yet sound full enough to make listeners overestimate the complexity. A definite must have for any church pianist.

Get this!
The book arrived Tuesday and I used several pieces on Sunday for mass preludes. Very playable and interesting. If you've enjoyed his Christmas with Style books, you'll love this one.

A Worshipful Experience
These are beautiful arrangements of beloved songs dear to my heart. Unlike playing them out of a hymnal, one can enjoy the melodies with different keys and creative styles. It can be a worshipful experience to sit and play the hymns in all their beauty while words and phrases float through my mind. With 10 hymns from which to choose, and the interesting arrangements, I have been playing only out of this book since I received it!
