Then there is a two-part version with a Modern English translation for singing. Finally two more parts, in an arithmetically-elongated double canon with the first two, are added, and the minute-long arrangement ends with a bracing coda. The brevity of this piece and its rugged medieval style make it an excellent fanfare-like opener for a concert or for a set by a young lower-voice ensemble.
