A male voice choir choral accompaniment to The Last Post, this concertato arrangement of the iconic American folk hymn Blessed Assurance for male voice choir (TTBB) is accompanied with a full version of The Last Post', played by a solo trumpet in Bb. The combining of these two classic melodies creates a unique and compelling musical setting of the well known text. This arrangement will be a great addition to any male voice choir's repertoire and is ideal for an TTBB Honor choir. The trumpeter could be placed either behind or in a gallery above the singers for added effect. This arrangement is just over three minutes in duration, it is ideal for Veteran's and Armistice Day, and is well suited to both sacred and secular occasions where a memorial musical component is required.
