The song was recorded at Beachwood Studios in Beachwood, Ohio in 1987, it peaked at No4 in the Billboard Hot 100 Chart & No3 in the Cash Box Top 100 in 1988. Hungry Eyes was written in 1984 by songwriters Franke Previte & John Dnicola, and originally recorded by Previe's band Franke and the Knockouts for thier album 'Makin the Point'.
