Simple and beautiful

This piece makes a good choice because of its flexibility. A strong soloist could take one of the verses. The lyrics have been changed from the original ones published by Robert Lowry. Our choir has sung the original ones.

How Can I Keep from Singing?

It was a song I sang with a 50 voice choir and it was catchy and sweet. Good words for any choir. Have not tried it with my 30 voice chorus but should have no trouble. The only concern is it is written in 4 sharps and many pianists do not like to play in this key.
