Het zogenaamde eerste hoornconcert in D KV 412 is feitelijk incompleet en bestaat louter uit hoekdelen die volgens musicologen zelfs niet erg goed bij elkaar passen. De oorspronkelijke finale (KV 514) bestond slechts in schetsvorm met strijkersbegeleiding en ging in W.O. II verloren. Ondanks dat blijft dit Concert een van de populairste Hoornconcerten.

The so called first horn concerto in D KV 412 is actually incomplete, and comprises a number of different parts, which according to musicologists don’t really fit well together at all. The original finale movemnt (KV514) only existed in sketch form, with string accompaniment and was lost during World War II. In spite of this however, this remains one of the most popular horn concertos.

Le soi-disant premier Concerto pour Cor en Ré KV 412 est en fait incomplet et consiste en des mouvements d’angle qui selon les musicologues ne vont même pas très bien ensemble. La finale d’origine (KV 514) existait seulement sous forme d’esquisse avec accompagnement de cordes et a été perdue pendant la 2ième Guerre Mondiale. Malgré cela, ce concerto reste un des oeuvres les plus populaires pour Cor.

Das erste sogenannte Hornkonzert in D KV 412 ist tatsächlich nicht vollständig und besteht nur aus Eckstücken, die laut Musikologen sogar nicht besonders gut zusammen passen. Die ursprüngliche Finale(KV 514) bestand nur in Skizzenform mit Streicherbegleitung und ging im Zweiten Weltkrieg verloren. Ungeachtet dessen bleibt dieses Konzert eines der beliebtesten Hornkonzerte.
