Highland Cathedral - Bagpipes and Big band
A powerful and atmospheric arrangement of the much-loved Scottish anthem Highland Cathedral, scored for solo bagpipes and big band. This setting blends the noble, ceremonial character of the original melody with supportive big band textures, creating a dramatic and memorable crossover suitable for both formal and celebratory occasions.
The bagpipe solo part is written in concert pitch. The arrangement works equally well for weddings, commemorations, ceremonies, and special concert features, offering a distinctive alternative to traditional or pipe-only versions.
