It is suitable for intermediate/advanced choirs, mostly because of the speed of the song, with some odd timing and lyrics. It is anthemic, perfect for big celebrations, end of year concerts and graduations. I would recommend this song is performed to a backing track, although a full band score is available by contacting me through my website. You can also find guide, teaching and backing tracks there.
The small group are only needed for a small portion of the song - the bridge, and I would take equal number of singers from the other parts and have them sing it in comfortable octaves.
