This is one of the Beatles’ most tender songs. This arrangement, for piano four-hands, is intended to be played by advanced students and professionals. It is one of nine Beatles songs I have arranged for piano four-hands. Every effort was made to stay true to both the recordings and the authoritative book published in 1989, The Beatles Complete Scores. This arrangement, therefore, is not a simplified version. It is an honest attempt to render as fully as possible, with four hands at one piano keyboard, what guitars, voices and drums did in the original. The sample audio was generated by Aria Player within Finale engraving software. The mp3 sounds good, but a live performance would sound even better with the acoustic use of the damper pedal.
