This classic tune begins with a slower statement of the melody, allowing students to work on phrasing and legato playing. The hook (short, repeating musical idea) melody contains difficult intervals and string crossings and is arranged in unison in all sections. The upbeat tempo is driven by eighth notes in the lower strings. This exciting tempo is paired with several dynamic ups and downs in phrases, to engage listeners and players. A build out of the bridge leads into a key change and back into the driving eighth notes until the conclusion of the chart.
