Excellent Resource for Jazz Students
This Herb Alpert Jazz Play-Along is fantastic for my students. The lead sheets are clear, making rhythm and chord reading accessible. The accompanying online audio, with its melody cues and removable parts, is an invaluable teaching tool. Solid Go-To for Herb Alpert Tunes
Grabbed this for some Herb Alpert requests. The lead sheets are well-formatted with clear chord symbols – essential for quick sight-reading on a gig. The arrangements are standard and instantly recognizable, great for jazz/pop/rock events. While 96 pages for 10 songs means a few page turns, the overall convenience of having these tunes, plus the practice tracks, makes it a reliable addition to my gig book.

So Much Fun Playing Along with Herb Alpert!
As an adult learner, this Herb Alpert Jazz Play-Along is pure joy! I love playing these classic tunes like 'The Lonely Bull' and 'A Taste of Honey.' The lead sheets are very manageable, and the online audio with PLAYBACK+ is incredible. I can slow it down, loop sections, and really feel like I'm playing with a professional band. It's truly enjoyable and helps me sound great without feeling overwhelmed!
