Heaven's Choir
I recently heard this anthem sung by a church choir at the memorial service for a relative. I was impressed by the music as well as the message and felt it was very appropriate for such an occasion. I decided to order it for my own future planning, since I have sung in choirs my entire life and would be happy to have it sung at my own memorial service some day. Meanwhile, I have shared it with other choir directors who are also planning to use it for their groups. I listened to a couple choirs singing it on UTube and realized that the sopranos have some rather high notes and those sections may be flat if care is not taken to stay on pitch. In one instance the choir did not keep up with the accompaniment.
