Beginning with two malleted eighth notes, the heartbeat grows and morphs as more bells are added, building to the excitement of a powerful B section. Eventually, the heartbeat becomes a gently-rung part of a beautiful melody soaring above an underlying triplet pattern. The B section makes another appearance before the A section returns, racing towards the finish, but not before a surprise flatline, leading to a spine-tingling and breathtaking conclusion.
