This is a relatively simple Latin Groove arrangement, with most parts having a very easy time - the band should be encouraged to use this as a horn feature for the opening soli, a percussion/drum feature (feel free to make the 4 bar solo into 8, 16, 32, as long as you like!) and to add as much auxiliary Latin percussion as possible alongside the drumkit - Guiros, Castanets, Shakers, the kitchen sink, use it all! Maybe use the drum solo as an open percussion battle? The repeat from E back to A is completely optional if wanting to make the piece a bit longer. Feel free to take 2nd time straight away. The final Cornet solo should be encouraged to stand up and perform from memory, with as much gusto and suave as possible! Maybe even on a trumpet if the player should feel so inclined!
