Reining Gypsy Guitar!
I really love Russian gypsy music! I jump up and down like monkey when I see this book. I held breath for one week till it finally come. I was not disappointed. I love the arrangements. The CD is a great listen and captures the nuances of this style. There are brief descriptions and performance advice for each song in the beginning of the book. Some of the tunes are challenging for an Intermediate classical player. I won't take it off my music stand until they are all mastered entirely. I hope arranger Alexander Gluklikh comes out with another gypsy guitar book. He should call it- Gypsy Guitar 2. If he did, I'd buy it. Forget the cowbell.. MORE GYPSY!
