hard, but worthwhile
Chord forms are provided with fingering and letters, rather than scale degrees, which I find more useful.Chord Passages are given without scale degrees, either - just standard notation, letters and fingering.The Chord Substitutions section is probably most valuable/useful.All-in-all, this is a TOUGH slog for the patient student, intended to develop an ear for the chord substitutions and transitioning sounds.I agree with the reviewer who thought that the DVD is easier than the books.
