This work takes the Op. 9 No. 6 Waltz by Schubert and extends it into a larger piece, perfect for a ballet class Grand Allegro or fun to play as a solo piano work.
Schubert's original themes bookend this new version with new composed phrases making up the middle segments. With the new sections and repeats, this lengthens the work to be a 64 count Grand Allegro for ballet class. It works well for leg swings at the bar or a grand battement in 3/4 as well.
