These fun duets for Treble Clef Brass (Trumpet, Cornet, Tenor Horn, Euphonium and Baritone) which are based upon the scales needed for ABRSM and Trinity grades 1 and 2 are ideal for teachers to use in lesson time. Most of the duets are in a play and copy style so that the student can copy the style and articulation of the teacher.
There are 8 different duets for each grade which include exercises for air flow, tone improvement, articulations, lip slurs, tricky finger exercises and exercises to improve tongue speed, covering different styles and time signatures. All done in a musical way to improve scales and arpeggios.
There are dynamics written, but no metronome markings. the duets are meant to be played at a speed comfortable for the student and speeded up as they are ready.
