Like many of the composer's pieces, this simple, SAB arrangement, combining two beloved hymns, was created out of necessity. Whether you're missing a whole section, a director, or your very competent accompanist, this anthem can easily be performed with few people. While men sing the "Amazing Grace" melody throughout, the women add complementary harmonies and a verse of "Grace Greater than Our Sin" to round out the piece and give it more interest. The range is perfect for most voices and the alto part can be omitted to offer more volume to the soprano part. This is a beautiful setting of two timeless hymns your congregation and choir will love!
