This arrangement of Good King Wenceslas, for an Easy Intermediate Choral Group, either Choir or Quartet, tells the story of Wenceslaus the First as a “Mini Opera” with the Tenors as "The Narrator", the Sopranos as "The Page", the Basses as "The King" and the Altos offering all sorts of harmonic support. It maintains the style and feel of the traditional Christmas carol, but offers a bit of a musical twist. It would make a great concert, contest, or worship offering. Even though it's labeled as Easy Intermediate, it does approach the edge of standard ranges for altos and basses.
