This distinctive, colorful arrangement of the classic Christmas carol Good King Wenceslas for an Intermediate String Orchestra takes what might ordinarily be a somewhat repetitive song and breathes a joyous sense of life and character into it. It's presented as an Intermediate Difficulty Piece. The notes themselves are easy enough, and the keys (G and A) were chosen to make the sixteenth notes easy enough to play. In this presentation, everyone gets a chance to play the melody; even the double basses get to help the cellos a bit. It make a wonderful concert or worship presentation.
