This is a fairly straightforward but interesting arrangement of a traditional carol that has been designed to give each instrument an interesting part to play with a number of different groups playing the melody and accompaniment. [I decided to arrange all the Christmas carols for my concert band after many years of playing the same verse arrangement 4 or 5 times always with the flute, clarinet and trumpet having the melody!]
