A fully functional 18-karat gold toilet titled "America," valued at roughly $6 million and created by artist Maurizio Cattelan, was stolen from Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, UK, on September 14, 2019. The artwork was ripped from the wall, causing significant damage and flooding, and has not been recovered, with fears it was cut up and sold.
